IMP 2.2.0-pre11 and Horde 1.2.0-pre11
PHP it is the one included with RHL 6.2 php-3.0.15-2
it is the last version of imp, it says in the manual that works with php 3.0.12 and higer

I've set this up a couple of times and found having all the same rpm versions is a great help.

Use mod_php,php_imap & php_databaseversion rpms and make sure they are all the same version number.

Test php is working and ensure the correct modules show up.

Then install horde/imp.

Once you get it working you'll kick yourself at how easy it is. (although I must admit it took me two weeks the first time.)

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Horde is an application framework for workgroup stuff like e-mail callender etc. It's a set of php scripts that let you run web apps such as IMP (email).. pretty darn kewel try a demo here :

I believe your problem is the PHP version. Yes, I know what the Horde/IMP docs say, but I've not found that to be exactly true. Try removing the PHP rpm and installing php-3.0.16. You may need to patch IMP for IMAP access, it's in the IMP FAQ. If you can't find that note I may still have it at work.

You don't need rpm's for horde/imp because it's just a bunch of scripts untar/zip them and put them somewhere : I use /home/httpd/html/horde/imp as the structure.

The first time you view it through a web browser it automatcialy takes you through the setup... Then you run the shell script to set security...

Can you post the contents of your phpinfo() page ? i.e. what it thinks is installed.

Fatal error: HordeCT is not a class in session.inc on line 363

Means you havent read the install guide. You have to EDIT session.inc to cater for your database class. The Redhat RPM's does not do this for you. I would really recommend removing it and install it from scratch from the tarballs from www.horde.org.

You you could tell me which database you are using to store session data and i can tell you what to edit.

or look at http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=imp&m=95667936911773&w=2 for instructions on where to find rpms that actually work (RedHat really goofed on this one)
