Hi javigil2,

start here

http://www.xml.com/pub/Guide/Tutorials

and yesterday i started with the XML tutorial which is included withe the MSXML parser preview

http://download.microsoft.com/download/xml/Update/5.0.2920.0/W9X2K/EN-US/msxmlwr.exe

and be sure to get the MSML SDK also
http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/webtechnology/xml/msxmlsdk.exe

they contain simple step-by-step inrotduction in XML, you can build and validate your own pieces directly into the lessons....it's pretty basic but i liked it :O)

then be sure to get one of

Simon St.Laurent
XML Elements of Style / XML: A Primer, 2nd Ed.
Building XML Applications
Inside XML DTDs: Scientific and Technical
Cookies / Sharing Bandwidth

http://www.simonstl.com

Great stuff...

and last but not least, get on the excellent and active mailing list of

http://xml.org/archives/xml-dev/
