Can someone point me to a Delphi 2 function or procedure that will sort the contents of a TStringList in ascending and/or descending order?

Use Sort method

example:

var
  List: TStringList;
begin
  List:= TStringList.Create;
  List.Add...
  .....
  // Finally:
  List.Sort;
end;
