When developing s/w that can have an international user base should I spell colour as 'colour' or 'color'?

Is this the right forum for such a question or should i place it in the lounge?

I would use 'color'...

You don't delete a question once it's been answered.  It goes into the EE Previously Asked Questions.  There's nothing you need to do.
