I installed win2k on a computer with win98.
Now I would need to uninstall it.
Which is the best way to do it,
or is it like trying to uninstall IE?

According to MS, there isn't any way to uninstall Win2k.

This is what I did to free the disk space occupied by Win2k:

1. Remove all programs installed in Win2k. (use control panel->add/remove program)
2. Remove all other data files.
3. Change Win98 as the first Boot Up choice. Set timer to 0 secs (right click "My Computer" -> Properties-> Advanced -> Startup and Recovery
4. Boot to Win98
5. Delete WinNT folder.

u can use a soft like Partition Magic 5
to delete your Win 2K partition , or Re-format it and redistribute the free space ....

u can avoid the ntloader too, if u want to restore original boot, put a boot disk in your 1,44 drive and type
A:> SYS c:  to rewrite your MBR

i had use this mean and had no problem
after that i'd just remove the files
in relation with NTloader...

i use Partition Magic 5 Pro for all my
works, install , resize, free space, format ..etc....it rocks !

i hope it's help U
