problems using applets in IE

I am using animated gif but it size is 255KB and for reducing the size I use applet. Applet size is 1 Kb. It run in NS very properly but in IE it dose not.
In IE when I refresh or reload the page it will get hanged. MY image is on home page and when I go other page and wanted to come back on Homepage it get hanged.
Any suggestions please...

Hi saritalodhi,

Have you click "JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled" in Tools->Internet Option->Advanced menu ?

and make sure you have install the virtual machine.

Animated gifs in VB can be easily run by using Gif89.dll. If u r not working on VB ie on Applets, then u must check for the IE's options, whether u have allowed playing applets or animations.
