C programme to Screen Saver

I have created some C programmes using Tourbo c & i want to make screen saver of them. Anyone pls guide me for how to do this. One more thing is how can i write a programme which can create a shortcut on desktop internally by calling some windows functions. Will anyone plz guide me about which book should i refer for all this stuff so that it will help u me develop myself.

I really like this way of helping..thanks  a lot in advance as i have not still visited all those sites & not still read all the documents! but still i require the name of book which will be always with me for referance!
