Very basic question from a raw recruit

Hello,
I have what will probably be a "silly" question.  I've just created a database, created a form, & have populated the database with a number of entries.  When the entries show up on the view, they only have the sequential Number they were given as they were entered in, (i.e. 1, 2, 3, etc.) The title I want shows up in the title bar of the window when I open the document, but not in the window with the view.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?  I've scoured the help files but apparently I don't know just what I'm looking for or how exactly to phrase it.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Hi,

I probably guess you have not designed the view yet.  Let me give some tips of how to design the view.

Just right click the view that you want to design. (I guess in your case you dont even have the view name) This is shown with an empty "lens". Then select "Design view"

Or

Under design you can find views.  Select the "*Untitled" view and open it.

you will be in the design of the view.
Now start creating columns(I guess you can figure out how to create columns as soon as you get in the design of view)

Give the title for the columns.
At the bottom of the screen you can find how to assign field values to the columns by either simple functions, Fields or writing formulas.

Try these . . . I am sorry I could not go beyond this.

Once I looked at it from this perspective & played around with the view properties a bit, I was able to add that column & am just tickled pink!
