Did you install the complete set of printersoftware local on each of the pc's or do you just connect via the network?
Anyway, the only way to get it working is to direct attach (parallel port) the printer to each individual PC and go through the complete installation procedure.
After that you can put your printer back on the origional system and connect to the shared printer via the network.
HP Deskjet printers use a lot more software than just the drivers.
In fact None of these printers are actual network printers (except the HPDJ2000), so you will not get support from HP.
But I have installed several printers like this and I use a 720 at home installed like this.

Hope this helps.

Greetins.

Un-install all the drivers on each computer and then re-install them onto the network.
