What is the easiest way, in a form or view, to display ONLY the last person to update the document?  I.e., the last person shown in the Author field.

a computed field that computes to @userName will always contain the name of the last person to save the document.

If you want a list of editors but only want to show the last make a computed field with a formula:

@if(@isDocBeingSaved;@explode(@implode(thisFieldName)+";"+@userNAme;";");thisFieldName)

The use of @isDocBeingSaved ensures that the person only gets added once and only when they save the document.

Then use a computed for display field that uses @subset(listField; -1) to show only the last entry.

These formula will all give you the 'long' name of the person John Smith/company Name/country wrap the formulas in @names([cn];VALUE) for just the common name ie John Smith
