Adding HP Deskjet 600 printer on Windows 95

I have an HP Deskjet 600 printer (which is a colour printer but not 600C) which I want to add to my printer list on my new PC.  I do not have the driver disks or any manual.  I have downloaded printer drivers from Hewlett Packards web site but when I try to add printer through control panel using "have disk" there isn't the choice of HP Deskjet 600 on the list of available printers.  The message says something like "if your printer is not listed, look in the manual for compatible printer" but as I do not have the manual I'm stuck.  I have e-mailed Hewlett Packard with a request but haven't heard anything yet.  Can you tell me how I can over-ride the list in the add printers menu or what is a compatible printer for the HP Deskjet 600?

Thanks in advance.
