CD ROM Drive is missing after Uninstalling a POLY /PM Remote services
After removing a software POLY/PM using the sofware uninstall options. The computer stops detecting the cd-rom. I noticed when it boots up, connecting to the network (Novell 3.12) it is mapping to the E: drive which is the CD. I checked the network.cmd file, only drive F: and drive L: is mapped to the network. If i remove the novell device drivers from the config.sys, it sees the CD. How can we bring the CD back while still connected to the network?
We call the IBM and send them the config.sys then send it back to us and still it doesn't work and I haven't got any calls from them

Q -- I have a NEC 6x4 CD-ROM drive, with 4 drive slots. I want to assign them letters W,X,Y,Z so that they
do not interfere with any additional hard drives I may install. How can I do this?
A -- In Warp 4 you can reserve drive letters in the Properties notebook of the Drives object. In Warp 3 (if you
have one of the later FixPaks installed), in CONFIG.SYS enter:
RESERVEDRIVELETTER=V
By reserving the letter V you cause the first CD-ROM to become drive W:
