from few days  I am receiving this  type of error message :

This document has been damaged by a disk error. The most likely causes of this error are : a defective disk drive, a defective SCSI cable, or incorrect SCSI termination. Some of the pixels in this document may be invalid. Open anyway ?

When we gave a file to four color output on Image setter the output is in Bad shape I mean irregular lines or dots comes out....I dont have SCSI hard drive...what's happening ? it is a RAM problem , Hard disk problem or what else ? Can anybody solve this problem? Thanks

The error means exactly what it says. "by a disk error" You probably have a bad block on your HD and that file was written over it. You should run the latest version of Norton Disk Doctor on it to isolate any possible disk drive damage. The other option is that the file was corrupt when you received it. In which case theres nothing you can do about it except get a new uncorrupted copy. In any case run norton first to determine if the problem is with your drive or with the file.
