$$Return field problem on the web

I have a web enabled form with a $$Return field having the formula:

m]"  where the IPaddress is the address of the target Domino host.

This should allow the user to bypass the login screen and immediately goto
the Register form.  This URL works fine when typed into the browser address
window, but when used in the $$Return field, a login dialog box always
appears.  If the user clicks cancel or OK, an Unauthenticated Error  screen
appears.... but the proper URL is in the browser address window, and if
clicked, the Registration form does open.

Is there some way to avoid having that login dialog open?

It looks like there are problems doing this using $$return.  Please see the following document:

Well done.  That was a great resource for me.  Thank you so much!  I was under a huge amount of pressure from the client.  Thanks again
