Missing Fonts

I have noticed a problem with fonts in Notes. They aren't all there!

A significant number of the fonts on my PC are not showing in the Font list in Lotus Notes. I checked another PC and they are also missing some fonts from the list in Notes. Now for the truly weird bit, the fonts thjat are missing vary from PC to PC!

Anyone have any clues on what might cause this or how to fix?

Hi,

In your WindowsControl Pannel can you check what fonts are there and what ones are missing. Can you give me an example of one that is missing which might help.

Also if there are multiple occurances of the same Font ie Arial Narrow and Arial Narrow Bold also exists then this will only show up once in Lotus Notes - Arial Narrow will only show up.

Any more info you have would help.

OK - To use Arial as an example, Notes does show several of the variations, but not all.

Arial, Arial Black, Arial Condensed Bold, Arial Narrow & Arial Rounded show in Notes but Arial Narrow does not.

Another example, Verdana is showing in Notes on my PC but not on a colleagues.

This is the real strange bit, in that the behaviour is different on different PCs.

Thanks for that. Lotus were telling us there was no known issue.

I have the same problem but the three possible causes didnt' help.

1. I have 158 fonts installed
2. changing TrueType settings have no effect
3. reinstalled drivers didnt' help

Furthermore, the fonts show in 123 but not Word Pro. 123 shows 158 fonts but WP shows only 2 fonts.

Any suggestions?

Spiffy - this problem and solution is with Notes. It doesn't apply to any other Lotus products. AFAIK.
