Class file created by which jdk?

If a Java class file is given, how do you find out the version  of "javac" that was used to compile that class file?

java -version will not tell the version of the jdk which compiled then source file. It will only give u the version of ur current jdk.
nero, better post an answer before the question goes to hell, so autograde will give you the points.

What nero is referring to is the version of the JVM and not the version of "javac" that was used to compile a given class file. I need to know the version of javac that was used.
what Nero said sounds just like the answer to your (edited) question.
I dont know if its true, but if it is, it answer your question.
