a) WHat do I need to do to setup access to the internet through either the multihomed DC or the linksys
router.
-Say your IP scope is 200.1.1.1/30 giving you usable addesses 200.1.1.1  & 200.1.1.2 255.255.255.252.
-Assign 200.1.1.1 to the linksys.
-Assign 200.1.1.2 to the NT Public NIC.. Gateway defined as 200.1.1.1 ....Block ports except 110,25,53.

b) Could I use just the linksys router without a multihomed DC , and still host exchange and a domain
( abc.com ) ?
-Yes, typically with a firewall the exchange server is not multi-homed but uses a "mapped IP".. Does your link-sys support Mapped IP's?

c) I want all mail sent to the Domain name to go to the  exchange server.
-If your exchange server has a recipient policy that defines the internet mail address abc.com & the smtp server properties in protocols tab in the exchange administrator specify a FQDN for the exchange server who's zone does exist on a name server pointed to from internic & port 25 is open to the servers address through a public nic or mapped ip, it;ll work fine :)

d) I want to be able to send mail thru exchange and SMTP.
-As I said open ports 110 for POP, 25 for SMTP, 53 for DNS & you're off & running..

I still have not been able to test this due to time constraints.
