self containing EXE / joining EXEs

Hi folks!

I wrote an application containing two files, an EXE and a DLL. Now I want to write an installer, which is one single EXE file, containing the other two files.
I can't use any of the existing installers (Install Shield, WISE,...) because I want to design a special graphical user interface for the installer.

The best solution would be if I could place the install routine in my application source code, so I had to maintain only two codes. Is it possible to attach the DLL at the end (or somewhere else) of the EXE and extract it afterwards? Like the "EXE Joiners" do...

Just tailor it to fit your needs. Remove the Security test,createobject, and delete at the end since you will not be testing security or launching the app.
