Java1 JPEG encoding source code

Could someone find JPEG image encoding source code which uses only Java1, not Java2 packages?

Have a look at Jimi from Sun, it includes a JPEG encoder only only requires Java1.

Download JDK1.x and take a look at the decoder/encoder  source code (is free you know ?).

I actually found something else, but this jimi is very good for some other things that I'm doing :))
