How to install a Codec in Windows 9x???
Hello. I have a video file that uses a Ligos propietary Codec and i would like to distribute it. I have identified the two .ax files that compose the codec. but i don't know how to install them.
I have seek in the registry for peeks, but there's two keys for each of the files (with a horrible CLASSID). Those CLASSID then appear in the Windows Media Player entries of the registry. I could reproduce this at hand, but i'm sure that the only PC in the world that will take that as valid is mine, and I want my program to be run in other machines as well.
There's an API or anything else to do this???
