I import a file from photoshop with guides.
I want to create slices along guides then optimize each slice individually.
When I try to slice by insert, slices, the whole image is one large slice as can be seen on the web layer.
How do I create indiv slice along my guides and then select each separately.
In the 4 up screen, can I set diff options in each screen for 1 slice?

That's several questions (g)!

There is no automatic slice along guides that I can remember.

Use the slice tool. It's quick and easy. Turn on snap to guides and then grab that tool (green looking thing above mag glass).

Once you make the slices, you can click on each slice with the pointer, and use the optomize pallete (window > optomize) to set options for each slice.

Insert slice makes a slice as big as the current object. When you come from PS, an object can be the whole document--that's why you get one big slice.

You could use layers in photoshop to help define the slices also. When you use insert slice for each layer that way, you ought to get a slice of the size of the stuff that makes up that layer.

But, that's a pain and slow. Reach for the slice tool. That's the FW way.
