VPN - A good Place to Start?

I have a SBS 4.5 server (which is NT4 SP6) have approx 25
Win9x clients on our 10BaseT LAN.  We currently use SDSL to access the Internet.  What is a good white paper to use to set up the server and clients to VPN (I would imagine our ISP needs to get involved?)  What do I do?  I have no clue where to begin.  We would like to use TCP/IP via PPTP, pretty basic, no Novel or Unix machines...

Thanks.

http://kubarb.phsx.ukans.edu/~tbird/vpn.html is what I consider to be one of the most complete VPN resources out there.

Specifically http://kubarb.phsx.ukans.edu/~tbird/vpn/vpn-howto.html

More specifically, http://www.firstvpn.com/research/papers6.html
