IP address assignment

I am new on W2000. I am connected to a LAN  and I cant find where I can assign a fixed IP address to my machine.

right click my network places....choose properties
right click lan connection choose properties
click on internet protocol choose properties

NT4 was a lot quicker and simpler...oh well
