Different between 3 kinds of remote installation.

Hello,

Does anyone can tell me the different between Unattended Installation, Sysprep and Remote Installation Services?

Thank you very much.

Unattendet installation is an installation where you provide a file that answers the question the setup program has, under installation.

Sysprep has to do with changing the SID.

Remote installation services is a tool, where you make an image of a working system and then use that image to install other similar machines.

Not exactly correct.

RIS is a PXE environment supporting Windows OS-installations (W2K,XP or W2K3), both the unattended and the sysprep way.
