I need drivers for a Toshiba Satellite 1605CDS/1625CDT laptop (modem and sound card)

i recently reformatted my hard drive and upon installing windows ME i was shocked to find that i did not have a driver for my modem or for my sound card. Is this my problem or is there something majorly f***ed up with windows ME? please inform me of finding of these drivers at ebin6669@hotmail.com thank you

upon trying to run the application s16snd8.exe.... i recieve the message <unknown> has caused an error in <unknown> <unknown> will now close     then i recieve the error message    This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administator.. Can you help me with this problem now???

you may want to try installing the drivers from Win 98 SE this one is usually works best out of the 98 series with ME.
you can also try  www.driver.com   they usually have a great range.

now upon trying open the sound card driver file s162snd8.exe... i recieve the error message "C:\Windows.000\Desktop\s162snd8.exe is not a valid Win32 application"... can you help me with this one???

You could try looking at Driverguide
at www.driverguide.com you will need to register bu I have found the service priceless
