this is probably a stupid question

ok

Outlook express for somereason takes a long time to load (about 2 minutes)

i was wondering if anybody knows why?

slow connection speed to your accounts (hotmail etc.)

i don't think it is that cuz i have open it before where it just opens up perfectly fine

are you subscribed to a lot of newsgroups? also try compacting your files in tools->options->maintenance

Do you have sign any new group, it will slow down the system.
Try to unsubscribed it.

no i have nothing in it

just the two e-mail accounts accounts
i have no news group in it yet


please don't proposed an answer i'll give it to the person that got it rite

If no help, repost with info on Outlook Express version and O/S version.  

Some other thoughts...

running out space on HD?
virus?
Need to reload OE?
Been to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com lately?
Added any hardware/software to your system or made modifications to your settings?
