i'm working in a webcam appln. where in one of my files i have frames say(top, left, right, mid, bot).
in this file, i'm refreshing image in the mid frame. so, for that i've given this.reload(x secs).
As this will reload the image 'x' seconds.
while refreshing the image the cursor changes to busy.
even when the mouse is placed on other frames while refreshing the image in mid frame the busy icon appears.

is there any way to change the busy icon to default, even when the image is refreshing.

thanx in advance.

You can try using this. This changes the default cursor in IE to crosshair.
 where <OBJECT> is the name/id of the object for which you want to change the cursor.

This does not work in Netscape.

Why don't you have a hidden frame and load the new image from server in that frame and then
on onLoad() event of the image, replace the Image on the visible frame with the new image. Doing this I think you won't encounter this problem.

<IMG NAME="img1" SRC="image1.gif" onLoad="setImage()">

<FRAMESET rows="0%,100%" frameborder=0>
   <FRAME src="test1.html" name="frame1">
   <FRAME src="about:blank" name="frame2">

here 'frame1' is hidden from user.
