i'm havin problems runnin some sierra online games. in particular, ultra mini golf 1. i'm usin ics as the proxy for my lan. but i have the same problems on the net machine. it turns out that the game can't do udp messagin, and fails.

it turns out to be the ics that fails, but i've discovered a ics configuration utility, and i learn that ports etc., can be configured. so i created the ports that sierra inform me that the game needs, but i still have the same problem.

so, basically, am i wrong in configurin each port as 'normal', i have other options... 'block', 'cuseeme', 'dplay', 'ftp', 'h323', 'pptp' and 'quake'.

is there anythin else i'm missin as well?

The GUIDELINES state that questions are to be maintained.  This is an IT Collaboration site, andru, and as such ongoing communications between the initiator of the question and any who help you.  As long as you provide ongoing feedback related to the initial question, all is well, Once you abandon them, we will take actions.  Please check the HELP DESK link on the left for more on what I've said in this and the other open items to get further clarification.

The key, again, is you ask a question, experts step in to help, you tell them the results.  The more actively you remain involved in your own questions, the sooner you can expect to achieve your goal and award points to those who unselfishly give of their time.

This question you asked June 12 and June 12 an expert responded but you chose not to until I posted the requirement above.
