Windows System - Modify Dialogbox with general

Hi!

I see that it's possible to modify that a dialogbox can take "more with" than normal in windows 98. How can i modify it to "shrink" or to "enlarge" (e.g. the splashscreen can take more with of the screen than normal)

it's difficult -> it must be a general setting in windows as i see. As you can enlage icon size in the properties of the screen you can also set somewhere the dialogboxes, that they appears greater don't know how to explain i want a function to set it back!

both are about open/save dialogs but it's about the generell boxes in windows, they appears to be to big :(

i accept because i want to close it ...

the problem can be solved with reinstall the graphic driver (have not found any option - what i have thought)
