I am exporting a page to a gif file format with the file save as ...

I am getting a non-desired black header and footer with the page in the gif file...

Is there an option that I can use in Freelance to get rid of them...

Thanks

I don't know if the link below is relevant to your problem or not. For the publish to internet, Freelance is set up to intentionally make the .gif file a little smaller than the screen dimensions, which might explain the black header and footer in your .gif file.

Thanks for the tip!

I took a look at the technote from Lotus but it did not make a difference.  I tried different settings but did not succeed.

If instead of .gif, you try a different graphic file format, for example, .tif, do you still get the black header and footer in the file?

It does work in tiff or even bmp but the file size are over 400k compared to 8 as a gif.  The files will eventually be published on the web!

I writting a freelance lotusscript  to automate the generation of gif on demands and would not want to use an intermediate step to convert from one graphic file format to another..

Thanks for pointing me to the different solutions.  It looks like for what I am doing I will have to upgrade to freelance 9.1!

Good day!
