Anybody out there use speedware for vb?  if so what are your opinions of it??

www.speedware.com  check out visual speedware.  it is a 4gl that runs over vb.  we use it here at work(i don't though) and i was wondering if anyone else used it.

the general thought here is that it is terrible(programmers view).  I don't have to tell you what the boss thinks of it(that's why we still use it)...

Let your boss program "Hello world" with it.

If he can get it working within one hour, don't go into discussion with him.  

If he can't, sooth his distress by saying that the "Hello world" program wasn't mission critical anyway.

For the rest, dump the thing ....

thanks also, You were the only one to reply, that in itself is answer enough.  I guess real vb pro's like us don't need speedware!
