Is there a function in ColdFusion to have the cursor already in the log in box when the user enter the application? Currently, they either have to tab until the cursor is there or use the mouse to place the cursor in the log in box.

There isn't a ColdFusion function, but there is a simple little piece of Javascript to do it instead. put this below the form on the page.

Replace the <formname> and <formfieldnames> with the values from your page. They are case sensitive

<SCRIPT>
<!--
document.<formname>.<formfieldname>.focus();
//-->
</SCRIPT>
