semper fi,,,,,where were you stationed ?? I was stationed at MCAS,Beaufort ,SC but spent most of my time aboard some freckling ship
Camp Lejuene, but I went on a NATO float and one Med float
Ship life really sucked, the only thing to do was polish up your gambling skills (once you get used to seasickness)
LOL

yup :>) I went on 1 med float,USS Independance (most boreing time of my entire freckling life )but after that ,,got transfered to the marines first Harrier squadron (they had just got the dam thing and had to test it) so I then spent every other 2 weeks on and off a freckling LPH,,,,all togeather I prob spent more time onboard a frigging ship than most navy guys do :>)really sucked,,,,,,,,,,,what boot camp did you go too,,,san diago or paris island,,,,,I went too san diago in the middle of hot july of 69,,,another real blast... heheh
I'll bet your time onboard ship really sucked,,,me being in the airwing was bad enough but those reg marines onboard...heheh well lets just say I wouldn't have traded jobs with'em :>)LOL I said that and really didn't spend much time around reg marines :>) I got 3 office hr's my first year (mostly drinking related screwups) but still made E-5 under 3,,,,bet I wouldn't have managed that in reg marine corps hu?? :>)
I almost was reg core,,,after bootcamp I received a mos of 04300 (field radio operator) but lucky for me the screwup got changed (avation garantee) at that time in nam a field radio op's life expectance was zip :>)
