CGI image upload?

I want the user to be able to upload files from their local harddrive to the server using a web-based interface. How can this be done using a standard CGI application?

I tried to do it with my self first, but it is very difficult. The component is open source, you can learn from it how it works. If you use the component it will save your time to learn another usifull things such as:

- Cookies
- Multiple actions

You will find all these in my EBook

Download my EBook and Delphi programming guide. I have a component for Jamal Kubber. You will find example of how to use it, download the component then call me again if you need furthur help.

The component is very easy to use:

  Table1.FieldsByName('Photo').AsString:= MultiPart.Fields.Values['file1'].Data;

Thanks, but I don't want to use a component, I want to do it by myself. It's good to learn.

I know how to use cookies and actions, thanks anyway. I'll check that component.

Hi again! I looked through the source of your component, I grasped the method of retrieving the file, but I think I'll need some kind of turorial to do it by myself. I don't want to use third-party components, I always manage to lose them somewhere :)
