has two views one is simple view with controls and another one is MSHFLEXGRID view both the views are
seperated by splitter windows.I am displaying date on the upper view and i am displaying some data in
the lower view i,e MSHFLEXGRID.I want to print the date and the data in a simple text format without
the controls just the data that is diaplayed has to be printed.

I don't think the flexgrid can do it. You'll have to do it "manually".

Well, doing it manually means setting up a DC for the desired printer and then printing whatever you want on the DC, just like if it was a display DC (exept for begin/end page commands...). But then this has very little with your flexgrid to do... Check out any MFC/printing document.
