where can you download real player for red hat linux for Intel arch?

what do you do with file that end with .tar.gz? what command do you use to unzip and install those files?

Where can you download gvim?

Select Linux 2.x (libc6 i368) RPM

tar.gz: tar xvzf file.tar.gz
(x - eXtract, v - Verbouse, z - un gZip, f - filename)

gvim - Its part of the normal vim search on http://www.freshmeat.net/ and then look at the compile options of the extracted source.
