There is like a power on password on the router.

The person responsible has left the company.

Even the console requires the user name and password.

Any help appreciated.

You are probably going to have to reset the router to default config.  If it is like all the other Netopias I have ever worked with, you opo the case open and power the thing up.  There should be a small white buttom in side near the LEDs.  Press it and wait for the LED's to stabilize.  Power down and button it back up.  You should be able to get in with a null password at that point.

Thanks for the quick response.

I checked the inside, there is no button on the r3100.

There are some jumpers.

But I assume it has to be something like you suggest.

I had looked at the site before, but could not find that.

Great thanks.
