how do i add a separator to a dynamically generated menu?

I have a menu that is generated at runtime and I want to put a separator between two of the items in the menu.  How do I do this?

Use CMenu::AppendMenu() or AddMenu() and set the nFlags parameter it include MF_SEPARATOR.  The itemId is irrelevant.
