refreshing list control header

i have a list control on tab control . when i click on one tab it shows one header and when i click on second tab it shows another header.
but the problem is when i toggle between these tabs the header is not getting refreshed.
how to solve this problem?

Try:

CHeaderCtrl* pHeaderCtrl = pListCtrl->GetHeaderCtrl();
pHeaderCtrl->Invalidate();
