Outlook Express won't send mail

When configuring an account to connect to Supanet ISP in OE 5.5 and try to send a mail I receive the following error message :-

The connection to the server has failed. Account 'pop.supanet.com', Server 'smtp.supanet.com', Protocol:SMTP, Port:25, Secure (SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCOE

Can anyone help me ?

There is probably a simple mispelling in your mail account...

Go to tools / accounts / mail
- have a detailed look at your mail account details - in particular your POP3 and SMTP server names  - correct them if they are wrong... try again...

If this does not work then remove and re-add your account and try that - failing this then contact your ISP as they may be having server problems.
