Socket in API program

Hello

I need to write a program that uses Sockets to sends
string line and recieves that string line with
the word " - arrived" in the end.

I dont want to use The WinSock Component of VB,
I want to use a pure API for the sockets .

Joker,

Using the Winsock API from VB isn't all that simple. Lots of pointers flying about. Here is a reference you might consider:
