When shutting down the system says your roaming profile cannot be updated please contact your network administrator. There is not enough disk space.

How many people use this machine?  In our school lab it was nothing for the roaming profiles to take up many gigabytes.   One machine had over 300,000 files associated with various profiles cached on it.  Delete every user except 'administrator' and default user' in the profiles directory and start over.

Another cure for this error at the school was to delete the files in the user's profile directory (NOT all the others, just the profile directory).

Have you not contacted the network admin about this?  It'll probably need this fix, which can only be done on the server.

PS - 'Andy', don't you think it's rather sneakily misleading to go by the handle 'microsoft'?  Someone will probably think you are giving out official MS tech support.

Are You Ready for GDPR?

With the GDPR deadline set for May 25, 2018, many organizations are ill-prepared due to uncertainty about the criteria for compliance. According to a recent WatchGuard survey, a staggering 37% of respondents don't even know if their organization needs to comply with GDPR. Do you?

"Legally" speaking, Microsoft is a registered trademark but Microsoft will have to ask Andy to stop. Ethically speaking, Andy should probably refer to himself as Microsopht or something similar. Pschologically speaking, maybe Andy is dilusional and really believes that he is Microsoft. To each his own...*>)T

The roaming profile is stored centrally in on system (mostly in server itself) . If that systems disk space is full, you will be getting this Error. So delete unwanted files in that system

Since this is on going question, it is not fair to the questioner, not the involved Experts.  I will reject enstein's Proposed Answer, if ABAKY accepts the Proposed Answer, that is his/her choice.

By my rejection will re-open the question for all. And it will return to the Topic Area.

enstein, in the future, please do not propose Answers unless you are 300% sure the Answer is correct.  Proper procedure is to allow the questioner to get as much feedback from as many Experts as possible by posting Comments, you have in effect taken that choice away.

I realize you are reletivly new here, so Welcome to Experts-Exchange.  If you have any questions, post them as "0" points in the Community Services Area.

After rereading this one, I think it's the profile's directory on the server that needs to be deleted.  But without feedback from abaky, I can't say for certain.
