The old "how to save a realaudio file" question again. The short answer is, you dont. Thats their form of copyright protection. However, sometimes the link you use to stream a .ra file actually IS the file and not just a pointer file. In which case you can download it with any program that will download via http. You may also be able to open up the pointer file and look at where its pointing to. Then follow that address.

If you are lucky you might find it in your browsers cache, under a different name but with the right extension.

!WARNING!
make sure you read the FAQ and that you agree with everything in it.. If you don't, well there's no other alternative you can use to record Streamed RealVideos, and you should destroy your VCR before the police gets to your house and arrest you for having tapped the last BayWatch episode..

Yeah I know, I was about to destroy all of my VHS tapes anyway.. I feel like stealing every time I record BeverlyHills with my VCR..

You know, I did some research on the subject and found out that, according to the United States Code, you are allowed to keep a copy of everything that has been legally broadcasted to you, but for PERSONAL USE ONLY. (This means, no re-broadcasting, no re-selling, etc. Only for re-viewing at a later time)

This is why VCRs and software like StreamBox VCR are considered legal.. but hated by most broadcasters.
