Sometimes, as single pages and in framesets, the scrollbar on a Mac/InternetExplorer just never appears even if it "need" to be there.

I have set the scrolling attribute in the <FRAME> Tag to scrolling="auto" , as well as doing the same on the page itself by adding the scroll="auto" to the <BODY> Tag.

A bit up and down sizing of the window can sometimes solve the problem... however it also happens the scrollbars never appear.

I'm refering to Mac OS 9 IE 5.0

On PC IE/NS the problem is not present.

Any hints?

Thanx

What about if you set it to "yes" rather than "auto"?

If I set them to yes I get a svroll bar for sure - I even get one if I don't need any, not only that... on Mac also a horizontal scroll bar shows up, even if it's not needed :-(

Mac & Webbrowser => sucks

A long time I have wondered if there's no webpage dedicated to the most common pain in webdesigning like Netscrap an Mac?

Have you heard anything about such site?

Kind Regards
