SQL+ in my PC can't connect to AIX Oracle DB
I have problem in using SQL+ 8.0 in my PC connecting to AIX Oracle database (8i 8.0.6). What's
the problem?
The following are the error details that Window give me:
PLUS80W caused an invalid page fault in
module ORA805.DLL at 015f:6764a9c4.
Registers:
EAX=535c3036 CS=015f EIP=6764a9c4 EFLGS=00010216
EBX=61726f5c SS=0167 ESP=006ce0e0 EBP=006ce4fc
ECX=49474f4c DS=0167 ESI=006ce50b FS=124f

Stack dump:
But there is no problem when using Oracle Forms 6i or Oracle Reports 6i to connect to the database.
The same situation occurs when trying connect to Oracle 8i on Linux.
Pls advise.

Are you getting any oracle message such as ora-99999 ? It seems to me like a client install issue. If you are not getting any ora- messages, may I recommend for you to take a look at the install/config. and possibly try reinstalling/ reconfiguring your client.
