Hello;

My question is if an NT account along with the mailbox were deleted, is there a way to recover that mailbox?

Certainly, restore from backups.  No backups?  There may be a problem.

Points to slink9.

While Exchange 2000 by default keeps a mailbox 30 days after it has been "deleted", Exchange 5.5 kills it the instant you answer "Yes" to "Are you sure you want to delete this mailbox?"

And that would be why it asks ARE YOU SURE?

there is a way to set up exchange to keep a copy of deleted stuff...involves registry and all...too complicated and if you didn't know about it...most likely too late

There would seem to have been a big blooper here.  The accepted answer says points to me.  What is going on here?
