How to write to the status bar?

Hello,

I've written a macro which does some calculation
etc. And while the calculation is ongoing i'd like
to let the user know by writing the calculation status
to the status bar (or what ever you call the bar at the bottom of Outlook that tells you how many email item you have)

Any answers would be grateful.

Thanks.

Sorry to report this, but the status bar is not exposed to developers.

Are you sure? Arrgg!
Then is there anyway i can print some messages
on the Outlook window? How about the title bar?

Thanks.

I should be since I support and develop Exchange and Outlook.

Title bar is also not exposed to the developer through the OOM.  In order to display a status message to a user, you have to go with a separate form to show to the user.

Hello,

BTW, is there anyway i can distribute the macro i've
created, programmatically? I mean, adding a macro is quite
a long process and if i have 200 PC to install it would
take me a long time.
Or can we wrap it up as an OCX or something like that?

Thanks in advance.
