Refreshing frameset - F5

I have a frameset "default.asp" with 4 frames (corner,top,left,main) using IE5

I have a menu in the left frame. All my links have for target the main frame. When I use Hyperlink to pages within the site everything works fine and I am able to use the menu.
As soon as I link to an external page, the external page is displayed in the main frame but the menu is no longer working.

All menu items have an OnClick event that I can use.

What I would like is to trigger the F5 command to reload the frameset as it is the only way I can unbable the menu again. If there is a better solution please tell me ASAP.

Thanks for your help,

Emmanuel

How are you setting the contents page? using target, or using a script? if you are using a script, please adjust that toa plain target:

<a href="page.htm" target="contentsframename">

I actually find a solution:

on the onClick event I have attached:

top.location.reload()

this will reload the frameset and re-activate all menus.
