Is it possible to share the same ADOConnection between different applications? If yes how do I make it happen? (The application that owns the connectionobjects is guaranteed to bee running during the lifetime of the other applications.)

It's possible. Each app has it's own connection.

Each application has it's own data space and variables, which means each application will have it's own ADO connection.

I think one way to share ADO connection, is by using a common application server that is serving all of your applications.

Try using RDSConnection and ADODataSet.

You can find examples of using the above components in
http://www.pinnaclepublishing.com

Use "ADO" as your search key.
