Form Handling after Submit

WHen I create a frontpage form I want to display a THANK YOU message after the user hits submit which is easy but I want A button on the Thank you for that the user can click on to close that form and take them back to where they were before the form, not to a cleared form.

Try This:

<form>
<Input type="button" name="Return" value="Click Here to Return" onclick="history.go(-2)">
</form>

Take them back to the form...with the information they just filled in completed or to the page prior to the form?

Do you know which page they will have been at prior to the form or will it vary?

THe form they were on will vary.  I would just like to do a double return or previous in other words.
